Embouts à lubrifier, acier/acier à filetage intérieur SKF
| Un embout est un ensemble constitué d’un œil et d’une tige destiné à recevoir une rotule standard. En règle générale, les embouts existent avec des filetages femelles (internes) ou mâles (externes) à gauche ou à droite conformément à la norme ISO 965/1:1980. Lorsque des embouts sont requis pour certaines applications spécifiques, principalement lorsqu’un embout est fixé à l’extrémité d’une tige de piston ou à la base d’un vérin, les embouts existent avec une tige fendue axialement et une section filetée compressible ou avec une " tige à souder ", c’est-à-dire une tige conçue pour être soudée à un autre composant. | |
| Les embouts SKF qui nécessitent un entretien existent en standard avec les combinaisons de surfaces de glissement acier/acier et acier/bronze. Ces deux types d’embout ont besoin d’être périodiquement lubrifiés. Les embouts acier/acier ont des surfaces de glissement qui sont trempées, phosphatées et traitées avec un lubrifiant de rodage. Ils résistent très bien à l’usure et conviennent donc parfaitement pour les utilisations qui doivent supporter des charges élevées dont la direction de la charge est variable. Les embouts acier/bronze ont une bague intérieure trempée et chromée et une bague extérieure en bronze. Leurs performances dans les conditions de mauvaise lubrification sont très bonnes. | |
| Les embouts SKF avec filetage à gauche sont identifiés par le préfixe L. Les autres embouts ont un filetage à droite. Par exemple, l’embout SILA 40 ES a un filetage à gauche tandis que le SIA 40 ES a un filetage à droite. | |
